Reservations for 2026 are now open. Our Katahdin and Katahdin/Dorper cross lambs are raised on pasture here at Lakeside Harvest with no vaccinations, no antibiotics. Pricing: $12.50 per pound (hanging weight) + $150 processing fee per lamb. (The processor fee is paid directly to the butcher or added to your final invoice.) Finishing Options: Grass-Fed & Grass-Finished (standard) Grain-Finished (available with advance reservation).
Each whole lamb includes a standard cut package, typically:
rib chops, loin chops, sirloin chops, shoulder steaks/roasts, ground or stew meat, leg of lamb or leg steaks, neck slices, arm roast, and rack of ribs.
Same cuts as the whole lamb but approximately half the total weight.
Reservation deposits are applied to the final total, with the balance due at pickup. All birds are packaged for freezing unless Never Frozen is requested.

Lambs will be processed and packaged at a local facility under Virginia's state exemption. Birds are processed on-farm under Virginia's state exemption, packaged whole, unless cuts were ordered, and freezer ready (unless never frozen is ordered)
